Hi - does anyone know when the restrictions will be lifted from the house? I made my last payment yesterday so still waiting for the completion certificate. We are hoping to sell our house asap. Many thanks
Congratulations on your last payment, We had to ask our IP to remove ours, it only takes a couple of days, I don't think it can be lifted until you receive your CC ask you IP
Agree with welshwiz - once the completion letter is received then all restrictions will be lifted and then it is about three months until the register is updated.

So long as all payments made there is no reason why the restriction can't be lifted prior to the certificate of completion issued.
Once lifted you can then sell your property but may find it difficult to get a new mortgage while your iva remains on your credit record.

We had to call our ip last month to remove the title restriction but it should be done automatically when the ip closes the iva. It took four working days from the phone call to ip for them to mail it and to when land registry removed the restriction for us. If you have the house title number you can call land registry and they will check if it's removed for free. They advised us it normally takes 48hrs once they revive notification to remove.
