So today our final payment left the bank!
We were originally with PJG transferred to Creditfix.
Over the last 5 years the IVA has at times been all consuming and at other times just in the background. At times we didn't think we would make the end with frequent appliance breakdowns, boiler and car repairs to pay for along with 2 small children to clothe but here we are!
We did not have enough equity to have to complete another 12months and on speaking to Creditfix this morning they appeared confident that we shall have our completion certificate by the new year!
Creditfix have been fine but I have always made sure I knew what was expected of us, communication from Creditfix is limited to say the least!
I ensured everything was sent for reviews, month 54 paperwork and any information relating to changes in wage/employment within a timely manner & recorded delivery!
Anyone just starting an IVA be open and honest with your company, ensure you have written confirmation of any queries & ensure you know what you need to do as it is your IVA.
I don't think we will fully believe that this is over until we receive our CC & start to rebuild our credit but today is a good day!
A long, hard lesson but we have definitely learnt from it!
Thank you to the lovely people on this forum, I have frequently read your advice & will now be looking up the clearing credit file posts. :D

Congrats . Please do check my post to see what I've experienced with Creditfix. Would be keen to see if they expect the same of you.

So today our completion certificate arrived!
Final payment made 28th Nov & certificate dated 6th Dec.
It does state to send copies to the credit reference agencies like a reply on here said but I would do that anyway.
We are so overwhelmed that we are completely finished, Can't quite believe it. :D
