I know I have seen lots on the forum about this but need to revisit. Is there an easy way of finding posts about expenditure whilst in IVA easier then trawling through. I know what my set expenditure is (ie gas/water etc) but need to compare what is acceptable on all the extras ie food/pets contingency - know what I would like to spend and know what I do spend currently but would like to compare with acceptable levels so can put and I & E together properly.

Here is a link to a recent forum

You have to remember that they are guidelines and that the IVA should be true reflection of what you feel you are paying.

If you expenditure is slightly higher or lower than suggested then so long as there is a valid explanation this should not cause a problem.

As carl says dont follow it to a tee put what you reasonably need, if your company feels it is too much or too little they will advise. Remember to think of everything.

Hi elizabeth

I hope you are feeling well.

AS eveyone says these are guidelines, so make sure you put what you actually spend and make sure its accurate.
I had great help in getting this right from Tina on Melanies team as it is so important to get accurate from the start.
Make sure to include prescription charges if you are on regular medication for your medical condition

very best wishes
